Shabash Bangladesh, a liberation war monument is one of the best achievements of Rajshahi University (RU) as the second largest educational institution of the country. Its architectural beauty attracts visitors from home and abroad.

Anyone who steps into the campus for the first time is impressed by this sculpture. The sculpture is a unique work of the late artist Nitun Kundu.

Shabash Bangladesh is located at 200 feet away from Rajshahi-Natore highway. So anybody can easily observe this great monument when they enter through the RU main gate.
It was opened by late Shaheed Janani Jahanara Imam on Feb 10 in 1992.

A large numbers of visitors come to the campus everyday from different parts of the country to admire the beauty of the monument.
